Mister Twister’s was established in 2001 after 12 months of intensive research into children’s activity centres across the UK and US. The first centre opened in July 2001 in Consett and attracted over 135,000 visitors in it’s first year. A second branch was opened at Follingsby Park, Gateshead in August 2002 followed by a third in October 2003 at Brenda Road in Hartlepool.
Mister Twister’s mission is to excel in the operation of children’s indoor play and party centres. Mister Twister’s provides exciting and challenging play experiences for children aged 0-12 in safe, clean and secure environments, while offering parents a relaxing haven. Each centre offers many complimentary services and special offers for families, including the very popular Mother and Baby Morning at Consett which is ran in partnership with local health visitors.
Mister Twister’s is a member of the Northumbria Tourist Board and adheres to the National Code of Practice for visitor attractions. 2 for 1 on admission.
